Laser Operator

Are you a skilled **Laser Operator **with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision? We are seeking a Laser Operator to join our dynamic team and contribute to the high-quality fabrication of sheet metal parts. If you're experienced in working with materials such as Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel, and have a strong background in setting up and operating Laser machinery, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain Laser machinery for sheet metal fabrication.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Inspect materials for size, thickness, and grade, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Load and unload sheet materials and cut parts onto the Laser machine.
- Debur and finish parts after cutting, maintaining strict quality standards.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience using Nesting Software (Training provided with PcCAM Plus).
- Proficiency in operating Fiber Laser Machinery.
- Knowledge of setting up and programming Lasers for optimal results.
- Valid Forklift Truck License.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

**Benefits**:

- Regular working hours**:Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.**:

- Competitive salary range of **£23,000 to £24,000**, commensurate with experience.
- 20 days of annual leave plus 8 Statutory Days (increases annually after 5 years of service, max. 25 days).

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pocklington, East Riding of Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Press Brake Operator: 1 year (preferred)
- Laser Operative: 1 year (required)
