About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bids Manager to join our Marketing and Business Development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our expert Partners win business and deliver excellent client service.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing bids effectively and calmly to tight deadlines, often simultaneously. You will be responsible for project managing the overall bid process, including initial scoping calls, document development, editorial control, and leading the review stage.

You will also be responsible for developing and challenging key messages/propositions, working with the Pricing Team to develop and challenge pricing propositions, and liaising with the design function in the production of bids responses.

In addition, you will coach bid teams at the presentation stages of pitches, work with the wider team to ensure all deal information and other information is captured and shared for future bids, and conduct post-bid debriefs both internally and with clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to engage with different groups and stakeholders around the business, and have awareness and interest of developments in the wider legal market.

You will also be able to demonstrate and use your initiative, looking for continuous improvement and ways to implement positive change. A strong team player with a flexible approach to travel and working hours is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
