No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) Programme Lead

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Senior Manager / Associate Director to drive the next phase of the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS). The NILS pilot has already lent over £10 million to more than 13,000 financially vulnerable people, demonstrating the positive impact of affordable credit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) Programme: Oversee the final delivery phase of the NILS pilot, working closely with the Programme Delivery Manager.
  • Develop the Business Case: Build the long-term commercial model and business case for NILS, identifying sustainable funding solutions and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key partners, including HM Treasury, JP Morgan, and Fair4All Finance.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a multi-million-pound programme through its final stages and oversee its strategic scaling for long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will have a background in both commercial delivery and business case development, with experience working with the public sector, mainstream finance, and civil society.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in commercial delivery and business case development.
  • Experience working with the public sector, mainstream finance, and civil society.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £70-£80k.
  • A fixed-term contract of 12 months minimum (part or full-time, flexible working).
