Corporate Knowledge Development Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Knowledge Development Lawyer to join our team at Jameson Legal in London. This is a 12-month assignment that requires a strong corporate law background and a passion for knowledge development.

The successful candidate will support our corporate practice and work closely with our Lead Corporate Knowledge Development Lawyer. Prior experience in a Knowledge Development Lawyer, Practice Development Lawyer, or Professional Support Lawyer role is desirable but not essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor
  • Upwards of 7 years' PQE as a corporate Lawyer or a corporate KDL/PDL/PSL Lawyer
  • Experience gained within notable law firms in the UK
  • A genuine interest in working as a corporate knowledge development Lawyer, with experience in training, contributing to know-how, and precedents
  • Experience in innovation technology, such as document automation and AI, would be advantageous
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • The ability to commit to a 12-month contract
  • Capacity to start a new role immediately or at short notice

Responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining precedents, automated documents, practice notes, checklists, toolkits, clause banks, and other forms of know-how
  • Facilitating and leading know-how meetings to ensure new developments, legal and practical knowledge, and experience are shared
  • Working collaboratively with teams and knowledge Partners to identify external knowledge resources required by the group
  • Developing, coordinating, and delivering training
  • Assisting fee-earners with technical queries
  • Working with the knowledge Partners and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities to use new technology or processes to improve service delivery
