An esteemed IT support organization is currently on the lookout for an IT Support Technician / IT Support Engineer to become a vital part of their dynamic service desk team.
In this role, you will deliver Tier 1 level IT assistance to resolve issues assigned by the Service Desk Manager. The ideal candidate will thrive in a vibrant and proactive setting, leveraging your skills to ensure the smooth functioning of IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the service desk for IT-related issues by reviewing incoming tickets and tracking progress.
- Support the deployment of new applications as an IT Engineer.
- Handle the installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Conduct regular system checks and maintenance procedures to maintain optimal system performance.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in a network or IT environment.
- Solid understanding of general printing, backup, antivirus, and security principles.
- Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, Windows Servers, O365, and Active Directory.
- Experience managing service desk requests through help desk systems.
- A full driver's license and access to a vehicle are required due to the nature of the role.
