Lead UI Artist Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Lead UI Artist to join our team at Rebellion, a renowned independent game developer. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for leading the UI team and driving the delivery of high-quality user interfaces for our upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UI team and collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to create engaging and intuitive user experiences.
  • Develop and implement a UX strategy for our brand-new game, working closely with the design team to shape the UX vision.
  • Mentor and support UI designers, artists, and technical designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality UI components.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in designing UX/UI and managing small teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing experience in designing high-fidelity UI using industry-standard tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with a wide range of people.
  • A passion for video games and game development.
