We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UI Artist to join our team at Rebellion, a renowned independent game developer. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading a team of UI artists and designers to create engaging and immersive user experiences for our upcoming project.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create high-fidelity UI designs using industry-standard tools. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the UI team to design and iterate UX and drive the UI/UX deliverables for the project
  • Develop a UX strategy for a brand-new game, collaborating with experts from the Design team to shape the UX vision
  • Mentor and support UI designers, artists, and technical designers to deliver high-quality UI for the project

Requirements:

  • Experience designing UX/UI
  • Experience managing a small team through all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Portfolio showcasing experience designing high-fidelity UI using industry-standard tools
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with team members
  • Passion for video games and game development
