About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Claims Auditor to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Motor Claims Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our claims processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our internal claims processes, including new initiatives and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough, risk-based audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Deliver balanced, accurate, and evidence-based feedback to leadership and teams, highlighting strengths and areas for development.
  • Identify opportunities for indemnity savings and implement strategies to deliver financial benefits.
  • Manage root cause analysis for all complaints, including those related to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), and recommend improvements to reduce complaints and increase renewal retention.
  • Effectively identify, manage, and report risk within your area of responsibility, enhancing the risk management culture within your team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in claims, with a strong understanding of Bodily Injury and other areas such as Customer Journey, FNOL, Own Damage, Total Loss, Intervention, Recovery, Third Party Liability, Credit Hire, and Household Claims.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to work.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret management information and identify areas of risk and opportunity.
