Job Title: Technical Systems Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Systems Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Service Centre leadership team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in Technical Systems and Engineering across our southern region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the highest level of safety is maintained at each service centre by providing oversight and expertise in the areas of functional machinery safety.
  2. Conduct regular site audits to ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance with legislative requirements.
  3. Develop and implement best practices and improvements to standards through the change request process.
  4. Work with the Process Engineering team to develop automation road maps for each site.
  5. Lead site Continuous Improvement and MTBF improvement projects.
  6. Lead the Commissioning, Qualification Verification phase of start-ups for big projects.
  7. Collaborate with the Training manager to ensure all Technical Training requirements are met.

Requirements:

  1. Professional Engineering Qualification (HNC or Degree level).
  2. Machinery Safety Qualification (Machinery Safety Expert or C&G).
  3. Ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH certificate.
  4. PLC/controls professional qualification.
  5. Excellent Mechanical and Electrical engineering knowledge.
  6. Excellent knowledge of relevant legislative requirements.
  7. Fluent English and a driving license.
