About the Role:
Premier Recruitment Group Limited is proud to partner with a leading care provider in the UK to recruit for an experienced Deputy Care Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the field of mental health, learning disabilities, and autism.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Care Manager to deliver a professional, flexible service that meets the needs of service users.
- Supervise and lead a team of support workers to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
- Act as a role model for staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular supervision and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Engage with service users and staff to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes that promote a fulfilling and satisfying life.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individual support plans and activities.
- Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and other stakeholders while respecting confidentiality.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of service user information and progress.
- Contribute to the development of a high-quality care service that meets the needs of service users and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with vulnerable adults and commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
