This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the field of mental health, learning disabilities, and autism.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Care Manager to deliver a professional, flexible service that meets the needs of service users.
  • Supervise and lead a team of support workers to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
  • Act as a role model for staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular supervision and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Engage with service users and staff to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes that promote a fulfilling and satisfying life.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual support plans and activities.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and other stakeholders while respecting confidentiality.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of service user information and progress.
  • Contribute to the development of a high-quality care service that meets the needs of service users and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults and commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding.
