Stannah, a leading manufacturer of homelifts, is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join their team at their Andover factory. As a Production Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement process and product improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to review and implement product changes and ensure the maintenance teams are aware of any equipment that isn't operating optimally.
- Ensure that production processes meet quality standards, particularly focusing on the unique requirements of homelift manufacturing.
- Provide technical support to the production team by troubleshooting equipment and process issues specific to homelift production.
- Lead and manage projects aimed at improving production processes and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner within the budget.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement to allow the business to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all production activities comply with health and safety regulations to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
- Project management experience.
