Brooklyn Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Engineer to join an engineering company in the Andover area of Hampshire. This exciting role involves designing and developing bespoke and standardised product offerings from conception through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating designs for customer sign off
  • Producing BOM's
  • Checking specifications for feasibility
  • Developing and maintaining build manuals for the core product range
  • Developing prototype and bespoke vehicles with production staff
  • Recording any design changes
  • Using Solidworks to create 3D models

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Design and Development Specialist to work in a dynamic and growing company. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Aluminium and Stainless Steel, as well as experience in a similar role within an Automotive / Fabrication / Vehicle Conversion setting.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (ACAD / Auto CAD) and Solidworks 3D and 2D
  • Experience in a similar role within an Automotive / Fabrication / Vehicle Conversion setting
  • Good working knowledge of Aluminium and Stainless Steel

This is a hybrid working role with one day a week spent in the office, and occasional travel to the company's site in Derbyshire for an overnight stay.
