Job Summary

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team at East Sussex Council, providing support to adults with learning disabilities in our Respite Services. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals to live their best lives, promoting independence, and providing compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities in daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Encourage and enable individuals to develop new skills and interests, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to provide a comprehensive support package.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of individual support plans, ensuring that each person's needs are met.
Requirements
