We are seeking experienced individuals to support children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties within a classroom environment. As a Child Psychology Support Worker, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to children aged 4-16.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties
- Assist children in processing difficult emotions and behaviors
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Monitor and record children's progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Strong understanding and knowledge of children's mental health
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education
- Patient and resilient with good skills in behavior management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
