Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting patrols of the site to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Searching vehicles and individuals to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Operating security equipment, including X-Ray machines and CCTV systems.
- Monitoring fire alarms and intruder alarms, and responding to incidents as necessary.
- Reporting suspicious activity to the Port of Dover Police.
- Providing a high level of customer service to our clients and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid SIA License (preferably).
- A driving license (desirable).
- A minimum of 5 years' checkable employment history.
- The ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
