The Systems Administrator Level II will play a crucial role in the daily management and support of a multi-site virtualized Windows Server environment, alongside Cisco networking equipment and Palo Alto firewall systems. This position emphasizes systems integration and performance optimization, ensuring that operational tasks align with industry best practices and adhere to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
As a Systems Administrator Level II, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the company’s technology assets, providing mentorship and guidance to Operations Analysts within a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and cross-training.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate under the guidance of the Director/Manager of Field Support Services.
- Plan and organize project tasks to meet designated timelines.
- Engage in regular discussions with management or senior staff to review progress, seek assistance with complex issues, and celebrate achievements.
- Support the Operations System Administration team in delivering second-tier assistance for enterprise systems.
- Work alongside System Engineers, IT Security, Application Development, Network, and Operations Service teams to maintain the IT infrastructure.
- Assume full technical responsibility for assigned technologies and equipment.
- Document the design, implementation, and final configurations of both new and existing technologies.
- Escalate unresolved issues to vendors or senior management for resolution.
- Utilize problem tracking software to accurately report and manage issues.
- Be available for on-call duties, providing critical incident response 24/7 throughout the year.
- Occasional night and weekend work may be required.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Adherence to internal controls is mandatory.

- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant application and/or IT operations experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience with Virtualization technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting network, software, and hardware issues.
- Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 25% to 75% based on project needs.
