Business Intelligence Analyst / Power BI Developer

Hybrid Working Pattern

Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join their expanding Data Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering strategic insights and data-driven solutions to internal customers, distributors, and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing MI/BI solutions in Power BI, with a strong understanding of best practices in model development, reporting design, and stakeholder collaboration. Experience working as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst is essential, along with knowledge of MS Azure Modern Data Warehouse Architecture and SQL query writing.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Working with the Head of Data and Senior Business Intelligence Analysts to develop new reporting requirements and optimize data solutions;
  2. Ensuring BAU/small change data delivery meets stakeholder expectations;
  3. Supporting the education of super users in data visualization and analysis solutions;
  4. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and conducting detailed reviews of individual data items;
  5. Documenting model designs and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Skills and Experience:

  1. MI/BI solution design in PowerBI;
  2. Expertise in Power BI model development, reporting design, and stakeholder collaboration;
  3. Experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst;
  4. Knowledge of MS Azure Modern Data Warehouse Architecture;
  5. SQL query writing expertise.
