Business Intelligence Analyst / Power BI Developer

Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join their expanding Data Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Data, Senior Business Intelligence Analysts, and the Technology team to develop new reporting solutions that support business change initiatives and optimize data solutions on the central Data Platform.
  • Ensure that business-as-usual and small change data delivery meets stakeholder expectations.
  • Support the education of super users on data availability and data visualization and analysis solutions, reducing manual effort and data exposure.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, conduct detailed reviews of individual data items, and enable automated validation to support efficient change delivery.
  • Document model designs, identify opportunities for improvement, and work with the Data Team to deliver these enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Experience designing MI/BI solutions in PowerBI.
  • Expertise in best practice for Power BI model development, reporting design, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
  • Background in Business Intelligence Analysis, Data Analysis, or Business Analysis.
  • Knowledge of MS Azure Modern Data Warehouse Architecture.
  • Experience writing SQL queries.
