Role Overview:
The Finance Manager for Global Agency TDC in Commercial FP&A will spearhead the Net Margin Team, which is tasked with delivering comprehensive financial insights to Corporate Finance, Commercial leaders, and Finance Business Partners. This role involves analyzing current financial performance, forecasting future trends, and engaging in long-term strategic planning to enhance understanding of business unit performance, market dynamics, customer behavior, competitive landscape, and associated risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Net Margin FP&A Team, which includes 3 direct reports (2 Senior Finance Analysts and 1 Intern), ensuring accurate global agency cost of revenue reporting.
- Manage the Net Margin financial closing process along with the Budget and Forecast procedures.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure financial results are recorded accurately in compliance with Travelport policies.
- Track and report on Net Margin budgets, forecasts, and variances from prior years, addressing any discrepancies with detailed commentary.
- Ensure precision in customer reporting at the end of the month and at the cost center level.
- Compile and distribute customer profitability reports (mid-month and full month).
- Engage with Corporate FP&A regarding current performance metrics, forecasts, and long-term planning initiatives.
- Conduct thorough analysis and compilation of the Net Margin Budget Submission.
- Act as a key stakeholder in the development of planning systems and processes.
- Provide support for Strategic Projects on an as-needed basis.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A proactive individual with a knack for driving value and mobilizing teams within a matrix environment.
- Possesses strong strategic finance and analytical capabilities, ideally with FP&A experience.
- Effective communicator, able to convey complex issues to key stakeholders.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, adapting their approach to engage with diverse individuals.
- Qualified or pursuing a professional qualification (CIMA or ACCA) is preferred.
