Financial Analyst Job Description

Travelport is a dynamic and innovative company that offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the operating expense month-end reporting within the FP&A function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and reconcile month-end close packs, ensuring accurate accounting of approximately 1000 employees.
  • Produce and release reporting packs, providing comprehensive analysis of FTE resource, including detailed commentary and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with the People Team and Operational teams to ensure accuracy of FTE reporting.
  • Manage FTE transfers, review and reconcile new job requisitions, and monitor joiners, transfers, conversions, and leavers.
  • Complete analysis of Wages, pension, bonus, taxes, and welfare costs, and manage the total employee cost base.
  • Run month-end downloads for close reporting and ad-hoc requests as needed.

Requirements:

  • Financial analysis experience, including financial reporting experience.
  • Studying Accountancy (ACCA / CIMA).
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proven communication and relationship building skills.
  • Attention to detail and demand of high standards of presentation.
  • A team player in proactively developing cross-functional support.
