Associate Director – Transport Planning

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to lead our transport planning team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business development and growth in the North West market, leveraging your expertise in transport planning to deliver high-quality projects and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow our transport planning services in the North West market
  • Lead on project management and technical delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to drive business growth and opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our services remain competitive and compliant

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of business development and project management in transport planning
  • Strong technical expertise in transport planning, including knowledge of the UK transport planning industry and the UK planning system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to drive business growth and success
