Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Evoke Staffing Ltd. As a Site Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of school site services, including the allocation, inspection, and monitoring of contracted building works and remedials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct external building contractors to ensure timely completion of works within budget and with minimal disruption to the school and wider business.
- Oversee the school and site security systems, ensuring they remain in excellent working order 24/7.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety Regulations, including Fire and Evacuation, Asbestos, and Legionella checks, Security System Testing, assessment, and investigation, site access routes, and site vehicle checks.
- Arrange internal decoration and site repair works, obtaining the best price versus budget allowances, ensuring timescales match those of the school, and consistently delivering a high standard of work.
- Report to the Regional Estates Manager, attending regular meetings, and providing reports and improvement logs detailing all works and possible concerns.
- Undertake physical lifting, stretching, and bending, as well as light internal maintenance and remedial work to fixtures and fittings.
- Work in adverse weather conditions, requiring the ability to dress accordingly.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in a similar role or within an Estate Management post.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
