Job Role: Facilities Site Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B male prison. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the prison's facilities, ensuring a safe and secure environment for prisoners and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the prison's facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement facilities management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination

Requirements:

  • Experience of total facilities management, including budgeting and staff management
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills
  • Good health and safety knowledge, with a strong focus on safety
  • IOSH qualification desirable
  • Completed a recognized apprenticeship in a facilities/building services trade, or two years of recognized experience
