Job Title: Administration Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administration Assistant to join our Practice Admin Team at Mearns Medical Centre.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing administrative support to our GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and Practice Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Practice Admin Team, including typing, workflow, prescriptions, and other tasks.
  • Assist with summarizing and coding patient records.
  • Use Emis & Docman systems to manage patient data and administrative tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Provide excellent communication and organizational skills to support the team.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a GP Practice or similar administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave.
