About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join our Project & Programme Services team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Building Surveyor - Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-profile construction projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver building surveying projects from feasibility to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead and mentor junior Building Surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and surveys to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Prepare and submit technical reports, specifications, and other documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including project files, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the delivery of innovative and effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in building surveying, project management, and leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex data and information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
