About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Service Assistant to join our team at St Georges Park Hospital, Morpeth. As a Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our hospital facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of offices, public areas, and service user areas
  • Undertake routine duties with minimal supervision
  • Assist in basic food preparation and cleaning duties within a designated kitchen/dining room area

Person Specification

Essential

  • Ability to meet the mobility requirements of the post

Desirable

  • Knowledge of cleaning and COSHH procedures
  • Experience of service area catering, domestic, portering
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety
