The Role

  • Lead the problem-solving aspect of the HSE function within the company, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Deliver and maintain the following management system aspects:
  • Incident Reporting: Develop and implement procedures for reporting and investigating incidents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Fire Prevention: Conduct regular fire risk assessments and implement measures to prevent fires from occurring.
  • COSHH: Manage the safe handling and storage of chemicals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Asbestos Management: Develop and implement procedures for managing asbestos-containing materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE matters.
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
