Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role in the defence industry? JAM Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a Principal Safety Case Engineer to join their team in Bristol or Warrington.

The Role

As a Principal Safety Case Engineer, you will be responsible for providing nuclear safety input to design projects, ensuring that nuclear safety requirements are incorporated. You will also provide nuclear safety input to bids, prepare and agree the Safety Case Strategy, and produce, verify, and approve calculations, analyses, design basis documentation, and technical reports.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have a Bachelor Honours Degree in Science or Engineering related discipline, cross-industry experience, and knowledge of a wide range of nuclear facilities and their operations. You will also have experience in developing and preparing safety documentation for projects, as well as managing teams to deliver large, technically complex, fit for purpose safety cases.
