About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and developing world-class Smart Factory solutions for our clients in the Life Sciences and Consumer Products sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Smart Factory solutions for clients, working closely with our sales team and delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to clients, identifying and addressing their business needs and developing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with our engineering teams to design and implement innovative Smart Factory solutions, leveraging industry-leading technologies and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and objectives, and developing strategic solutions to meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, and developing new solutions to meet emerging client needs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, with a strong background in Smart Factory solutions and industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Excellent technical skills, with expertise in areas such as platform-level architecture, system design, and software development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
