Senior Mental Health Nurse

We're seeking a dedicated and ambitious Senior Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Mental Health Nurse or Senior Learning Disability Nurse, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
What You'll DoAs a Senior Nurse, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our residents with mental health needs. You'll work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to assess the needs of new residents, develop care plans, and administer medicines in line with NMC regulations. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating a safe and supportive environment where our residents feel valued and respected.
You'll also have the opportunity to mentor and support your team members, helping them to develop their skills and confidence. Your professional judgement and leadership skills will be essential in making critical clinical decisions and driving improvements in quality care.
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a Senior Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support. You'll need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse with a current NMC registration and a mentor or supervision qualification. Experience of working with older people and delivering care plans and risk assessments is essential. You'll also need to have up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
