About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at an elderly care home in Stone. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication administration.
  • Encourage service users to maintain their independence and confidence, promoting a sense of well-being and self-esteem.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the home, including participating in activities and events that promote social interaction and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 2 in social care or adults, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Training in moving and handling, hoist training, safeguarding, and medication administration.
  • A willingness to get involved and be a member of the team, with an enthusiastic manner and interest in taking part in activities.
