About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead, where you will play a vital role in helping elderly individuals maintain their independence and live life to the fullest in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks, tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences.
  • Encourage and assist clients in staying active and engaged, fostering both physical and emotional well-being, and promoting a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
  • Offer companionship and build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance.
  • Assist with medication reminders, transportation, and accompanying clients to appointments or social activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Promote safety and independence by assisting with mobility and fall prevention techniques, and providing guidance on healthy living and wellness.
  • Respect clients' dignity and autonomy, and work collaboratively with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.
