Job Overview

Home Instead Charnwood is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Professional to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and nutritional planning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work collaboratively with the office team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular home safety assessments and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Manage client medication, including ordering and collecting prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, promoting clients' mental and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care, including daily notes and progress reports.

Requirements

  • Experience in care and support, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to scheduling and workload.
  • Competent in computer literacy and use of care management software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
