Job Summary:
Corus Consultancy is seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Registered Manager to lead our residential children's home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for young people with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the team, ensuring that the home operates in accordance with Ofsted regulations and best practices.
- Child Care and Support: Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each child.
- Staff Management and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and dedicated team of staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
- Safeguarding and Risk Management: Ensure that the home is a safe and secure environment for children, and that all necessary measures are in place to mitigate risks and prevent harm.
- Communication and Collaboration: Build and maintain effective relationships with children, families, social workers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that the home is a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Experience and Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a residential children's setting, with a Level 5 Health and Social Care Management and Leadership qualification.
- Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and best practices in residential care. Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: A caring and open-minded nature, with a passion for providing high-quality care and support to young people with learning disabilities.
