About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and promote Thales procurement competitiveness internally as well as externally (customers and consortia). As a Procurement Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining, implementing and executing the procurement acquisition plan/strategy (project, product development and production phases) in accordance with the allocated targets (time, quality, costs, risks and opportunities).

Key Responsibilities
  • Defining and implementing the procurement acquisition plan/strategy
  • Validating the availability of offers on the market of the product/project design
  • Optimising the cost of procured parts
  • Liaising with operational teams and Category Managers/Subcontract Managers / Tactical Buyers
  • Defining and monitoring the contractual requirements of the procurement acquisition plan
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Project Manager who has a strong technical awareness of the end-to-end procurement activities, including experience of project management. You will have excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with experience building and managing strong, long lasting relationships across internal stakeholders, customers, partners and suppliers.
