Job Title: Fund Governance and Oversight Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Governance and Oversight Associate to join our team at NatWest. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance and oversight of our fund management company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee third-party administration and governance processes to ensure management company compliance.
  • Review service level agreements and contractual requirements for our service providers, working closely with Legal and Supply Chain Services to agree changes and maintain costs within budget.
  • Support oversight visits on all delegated outsourced functions, including initial planning and creating reports that highlight actions and maintain exit plans for third-party administrators.
  • Ensure evidential standards and record management requirements are in place, including implementing and managing the documentation retention process for regulatory documents, contracts, communications, reviews, governance meetings, and projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the asset management industry, with a deep understanding of the regulatory and commercial environment.
  • An in-depth understanding of the investment product market, its competitive dynamics, and how they influence customer behavior and our commercial imperatives.
  • A proven track record of end-to-end third-party oversight.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence at senior management level.
  • The ability to analyze and evaluate complex information to support sound decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulations, and risk management.
