Funds Managing Associate Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate / Senior Associate to join our top-tier International law firm in Bristol. The successful candidate will have a strong background in funds finance, with experience in capital call, hybrid, general partner, management fee, co-invest, and NAV/asset backed facilities.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a range of funds finance experience, gained from working within an international or leading regional firm. You will also have experience with fund structures and partnership documents, and the ability to work on transactions as part of a team in a friendly, collegiate environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of complex transactions, including capital call, hybrid, general partner, management fee, co-invest, and NAV/asset backed facilities.
  • Work closely with the tax, securitisation, regulatory, and fund formation teams to provide comprehensive support to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including banks, funds, asset managers, corporates, and governments.
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's funds finance practice, including identifying new business opportunities and developing innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Excellent academics and technically excellent with strong drafting skills.
  • 6+ years of post-qualification experience, gained at another international or leading regional firm.
  • Strong client focus with an ability and willingness to get actively involved in marketing and business development.
  • Commercially driven and able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
