Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our team. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotels, managing staff rotas and wages, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control.
  • Develop and implement staff training and induction processes to ensure high standards of customer service.
  • Utilize EPOS systems in bars to manage sales and customer transactions.
  • Manage difficult customers in an appropriate manner, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Manage cash handling and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with fellow staff and customers, promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage and motivate staff to achieve high standards of customer service and hotel operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hotel operations, customer service, and staff management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain good relationships with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of EPOS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve high standards of customer service and hotel operations.
