Position Overview:

Under minimal supervision, the HVAC Service Technician II is responsible for diagnosing and servicing residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role involves direct communication with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction with our services. The technician will work closely with the Field Supervisor or General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct service and maintenance calls for residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
  • Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls and customer interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch to provide updates on service status.
  • Promote company products and services during customer interactions.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of company tools and vehicles.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or certification in HVAC or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in HVAC service with relevant technical training.
  • Valid licensing or certification as required by local regulations.
  • EPA and safety certifications are mandatory.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using necessary tools and equipment.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
