About the Role

Tiger Analytics is seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our team. As a Data Modeler, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data models that support our business intelligence and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into working logical and physical data models.
  • Create and maintain logical data models (LDMs) and physical data models (PDMs) for our projects.
  • Develop and maintain source-to-target data mapping documents, including documentation of entities, attributes, data relationships, primary and foreign key structures, allowed values, codes, business rules, and glossary terms.
  • Gather and publish data dictionaries, maintaining data models and capturing data models from existing databases and recording descriptive information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and define data requirements.
  • Participate in the de-normalization of data models, ensuring that business rules impacted during de-normalization are implemented via alternate mechanisms.
  • Design and implement data lakes and data warehouses.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to drive data-driven decision making.

Requirements

  • CPG/FMCG domain experience is essential.
  • Experience working with Azure as a cloud platform.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
