Job Summary:

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our team. As a Data Modeler, you will play a crucial role in the development of data models that support business operations. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data models that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data models that support business operations
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data models that meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain data models in collaboration with the data governance team
  • Collaborate with the data architecture team to ensure data models align with overall data architecture
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data models and data governance policies

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, Hackolade, or SQL database modeler
  • Ability to formulate documentation and materials for engineering and business stakeholders with strong PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with Collibra managing the inventory of data assets, capturing metadata, and governing these assets
  • Experience with SQL or noSQL database to understand the link between conceptual data layers to the physical layers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial modeling and financial data background
