Pricing Administrator

The Emerald Group is seeking a skilled Pricing Administrator to join their team. As a key member of the pricing team, you will be responsible for managing projects and analyzing data to improve the predictive power of their models and the positioning of their prices in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Supervise analysis to ensure rigor and high quality throughout.
  • Model Development: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and deployment of rating models.
  • Pricing Strategy: Consider the impact of pricing actions on customers and act to avoid any unfair treatment.
  • Code Quality: Ensure work can be efficiently merged and refactored into the Python rating API codebase.
  • Standards Alignment: Guarantee code quality is aligned with expected standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: 2:1 degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline or evidence of equivalent proficiency.
  • Coding Ability: Experience in coding using Python.
  • Insurance Pricing Knowledge: Understanding of the whole insurance pricing process and a range of statistical techniques for modeling.
  • Desirable Skills: Previous experience in managing direct reports and experience in insurance pricing.
