About the Role

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead the development of a four-bedded long-term residential home for children and young people. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of a high-quality care service for children and young people
  • Manage a team of staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including Ofsted and local authorities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including Ofsted and the Children's Homes regulations
  • Contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plan and objectives
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Registered Manager/Deputy Manager role
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
  • Either have, or be working towards, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Strong working knowledge of Ofsted, the Children's Homes regulations, health and safety legislation, COSHH, and other relevant legislation
  • Experience of working with and managing challenging behavior, including attachment and trauma
