Role Overview

We are seeking skilled Process Engineers to enhance our engineering capabilities. In this role, you will collaborate with the project design team to identify effective process solutions, ensuring optimized plant performance and adherence to engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design processes for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, aligning with Anglian Water's objectives for customer satisfaction, environmental stewardship, and operational efficiency.
  • Generate essential technical documentation, including schedules, data sheets, and engineering calculations.
  • Develop specific specifications for engineering subcontracts and conduct technical bid analyses of supply chain designs.
  • Supervise critical outputs such as process calculations, hydraulics, and unit processes.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels to ensure the delivery of technical excellence.
  • Proactively address potential issues impacting project timelines, costs, or quality.
  • Uphold health and safety standards, producing safe designs in compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and share best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess a degree in water or wastewater process science or engineering and have relevant experience in process engineering within the water and biosolids treatment sectors.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with a collaborative approach to overcoming challenges. Proficiency in IT and the ability to merge technical expertise with interpersonal skills will be crucial in delivering exceptional process engineering solutions.
