Therefore, we are seeking several skilled Process Engineers to enhance our engineering capabilities in the coming months.

Role Overview

As a Process Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the project design team to develop effective process solutions that adhere to optimized plant performance principles, utilize standard designs, and comply with our engineering design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design processes for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and sewerage/water systems that align with Anglian Water's objectives regarding customer satisfaction, environmental stewardship, and operational efficiency.
  • Generate essential technical deliverables, including but not limited to:
    • Technical schedules and data sheets.
    • Engineering calculations (hydraulic, pump, mass balance, RICS, etc.).
    • Specific specifications for engineering subcontracts.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain and conduct technical bid analyses of their designs.
  • Supervise key outputs such as process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calculations, capacity assessments, data sheets, and technical evaluations of third-party process equipment.
  • Ensure effective communication at all levels to promote understanding and implementation of technical excellence.
  • Proactively address issues that may affect time, cost, or quality before they escalate.
  • Contribute to health and safety excellence by applying knowledge and skills to create safe designs in accordance with CDM Regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain strong connections with other engineering teams to ensure seamless collaboration across disciplines, managing overlaps and sharing best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

To thrive in this dynamic environment, you should possess a degree in water/wastewater process science or a related engineering discipline, along with experience in process engineering for water/wastewater and biosolids treatment.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to foster collaboration to overcome challenges that may impede our performance objectives. Your technical expertise, combined with excellent interpersonal skills, will enable you to deliver optimal process engineering solutions to stakeholders consistently.
