Role Overview
In the position of Process Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the project design team to identify and implement effective process solutions that optimize plant performance and adhere to our engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design processes for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, ensuring alignment with Anglian Water's objectives for customer satisfaction, environmental stewardship, and operational efficiency.
- Produce essential technical documentation, including:
- Technical schedules and data sheets.
- Engineering calculations (hydraulic, pump, mass balance, etc.).
- Specifications for engineering subcontractors.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and conduct technical evaluations of their proposed designs.
- Supervise critical outputs such as process calculations, hydraulics, and capacity assessments.
- Communicate effectively across all levels to ensure the delivery of technical excellence.
- Proactively address potential issues that may affect project timelines, costs, or quality.
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring designs comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Maintain strong connections with other engineering teams to facilitate seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Candidate Profile
To thrive in this role, you should possess a degree in water or wastewater process engineering or a related field, along with practical experience in process engineering within the water and wastewater sectors.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to foster collaboration to overcome challenges. You should also demonstrate proficiency in IT, combining technical expertise with interpersonal skills to provide exceptional service to stakeholders.
