Food Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Production Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a Food Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire food production operation in one of our busiest stores, overseeing people and processes across bakery, pizza, and hot food.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day pressures and plan ahead for the next couple of weeks to ensure the delivery of a range of food products that meet our quality standards.
- Agree shift patterns, allocate tasks and areas of focus, and be a visible leader for great service.
- Coach and motivate your team to work together productively and solve performance issues by giving honest feedback, supporting people through change, and setting expectations.
- You are making decisions at pace and consistently providing a brilliant handover to the next shift manager.
- Your team puts themselves in our customers' shoes, taking pride and passion in how we can deliver them great products while making things better for them.
- You are developing your confidence, feeling increasingly empowered to run your section of the store, and coached by your manager.
- You are building your profile and cultivating effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and other managers across the store.
