Clinical Specialist - Crisis/Home Service

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Specialist in our Crisis/Home Service. As a key member of our CAMHS team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our clinical leadership team to develop and implement evidence-based clinical pathways, provide consultation and supervision to CAHTS staff, and contribute to the development of our service.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children and young people, including those with eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and other complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based clinical pathways
  • Provide consultation and supervision to CAHTS staff
  • Contribute to the development of our service
  • Work closely with our clinical leadership team to achieve service goals
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Post-graduate qualification relevant to specialism
  • Experience of offering qualified staff supervision
  • Knowledge of DBT and Leadership/management qualification/training
