About the Role

As a key member of the HERMA UK LIMITED team, the Technical & Compliance Manager will play a vital role in driving the company's technical and compliance processes forward. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of self-adhesive paper and film laminates and contribute to the company's commitment to innovation and delivering exceptional solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the Technical & Compliance team, ensuring customer and end-user requirements are met.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical knowledge and support to customers, end-users, and colleagues, ensuring the business maintains high-quality services.
  • Compliance and Quality: Oversee and ensure compliance systems are in place, and certifications (ISO and BRCGS) are met.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present monthly departmental KPIs and management reports.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to customers, end-users, and colleagues on technical and compliance matters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead the open-door and continuous improvement culture, driving innovation and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: HND/HNC or bachelor's degree in chemistry or equivalent.
  • Experience: Working in the print industry, managing a team, auditing and implementing ISO9001, ISO14001, BRC, and FSC.
  • Skills: Presentation skills, management reporting, and strong communication skills.
