Role Summary:


As the Technical & Compliance Manager you will play a vital role in the company’s technical & compliance processes. Managing the Technical & Compliance department you will ensure customer & end-user requirements are met. Providing technical & compliance knowledge & support to customers & end-users, ensuring the business quality & service is maintained. Motivational skills, attention to detail, diplomacy, team-work & excellent communication skills are essential.


Duties Include:


  • Manage the Technical & Compliance team
  • Monthly reporting of departmental KPI’s & management reports
  • Provide Technical expertise to customers, end-users & colleagues
  • Daily troubleshooting of technical & compliance issues & enquiries
  • Provide technical support to customers & end-users
  • Oversee & accountable for the compliance systems & ensure certifications are met (ISO & BRCGS)
  • Oversee the maintenance of procedures in line with certification body standards
  • Provide recommendations to compliance and quality processes & certifications
  • Provide updates across the business on innovation and new products in the pipeline
  • Provide training to customers & end-users
  • Provide training & guidance to colleagues
  • Overseeing & accountability for the UK business FSC certification status
  • Lead the open-door & continuous improvement culture
  • Liaise with colleagues across the business in the UK & Germany
  • Off-site/multi-site troubleshooting & sales related visits


Qualifications/Experience:


  • HND/HNC or bachelor degree in chemistry or equivalent
  • Working with in the print industry
  • Managing a team of people
  • Auditing and implementation of ISO9001, ISO14001, BRC & FSC
  • Presentation skills and management reporting
